I'm so glad that I've passed my piano exam with merit! So, my hard work did pay off afterall! Thank God!:D
And congrats to Emily too, for getting merit for her guzheng exam!:)
Haha, so we're gonna exchange our writer's report on Monday:D
But grade 8 is going to be tough and I'm prepared to fail twice alr!

First day of the yr today!:D It's the new yr 2010, but it somehow doesn't feel like it...
Nevertheless, there's a need for...

NEW YR RESOLUTIONS!
1) To have more faith in GOD
2) To do well for O'Levels and never give up!:D
3) To stay close with my family and friends
4) To exercise more
5) To have more confidence in myself


I'm feeling kindof excited yet tired at the thought of school reopening!
Lots of homework yet to be done too!

Christmas day!
Went to church for the wonderful Christmas celebration and service!
Then, visited grandma and sang familar Christmas carols to remind her it was Christmas day!
In the evening, went to cousin's house for a great Christmas dinner!

 

 

 

 


Made a sisters blog with my sis ytd! Sounds cool yet gay,
School's reopening in like, eight days! Excited yet worried cos it means o'levels nxt yr! And lots of hol hw to chiong through now!
Oh, and I changed my lj skin for a change for the coming yr!

Today's weather was great for a picnic!

Thanks to cass, we bought so much chips! And I ate smth weird today. It's called fishball egg sushi or smth and it tasted super fishy! Fortunately I've my ruhua(cass) to help me finish up!
I just realised cass is a hippopotamus! She took up the entire groundsheet, my goodness! Hahaha:D

Anw, guides outing to old folks' home today was great:D
It felt really wonderful to be able to entertain them and help them out with their art&craft!
The old folks there are really active and it was more like them entertaining us and not the other way round!

Woke up really , really early last Sat to follow my sister's CRAZY but FUN plan. And that is to go to the airport early in the morning. We'd a fun time there:D

As a wonderful geog student, I decided to take a photo of the weather, hahaha.

Next was class BBQ. I attempted to learn cycling, but as usual, it was a failure. I guess it'll take ages before I can finally cycle...

Yl's parents came to fetch Cass and me too:D If not for them, I think I would have reached home at about 12 midnight. It was really funny b'cos we managed to find so many similarities between our fathers. Maybe they were long-lost brothers, hahaha!


Today's geog field trip was informative! Learn many new interesting facts about the forests in S'pore. It was quite pathetic b'cos only 9 out of 21 people turned up for 3E2.
We started off first with Bothanic Gardens.
The tropical forest actually houses more than 314 plants species!
Our picnic lunch was quite filling. Plus after that, we went to play hide and seek.
Then we went on next to Sungei Buloh. We were quite lucky as we managed to see both the crocodile and otter. And we saw the different roots of the mangroves! (breathing roots, kneed roots, prop roots, etc.)

Just had a game of badminton with my sis. Played with her for over an hour. I perspired really alot but she didn't. And why? B'cos I was picking up all the shuttercocks. Hahaha, b'cos 9 out of 10 times, I can't hit. PIty her for having to tolerate with me. But at least I did improve afterall, hahaha:D

Finally, school has ended. I'm having mixed feelings about that. The good thing is our well-deserved holidays are finally here. At the same time, it means next yr is sec4! Thinking about that gives me the creeps!

Anw, had a great time today:D
After guides, Atiqah, Chintya and I went to Elisa's house. The 7 of us (Charity, Tze Ching, Swan Keng, Elisa, Atiqah, Chintya, Jocelyn) started making sushi. My first time making sushi and our cooking teacher was Chintya!:) Haha, we had a wonderful time making sushi, and of cos eating them too.
After that, we played. It was really funny but tiring too.
The sky was really dark and it was drizzling while I was walking home. Fortunately, I arrived home before it poured heavily.

Alright, I think I have to concentrate alot on my piano now b'cos exam will be in less than 2 months time!
